Designed to supplement all phonics programs, these color-coded, interlocking manipulatives are a great hands-on way to teach literacy! By linking together letter and picture Rods, children develop valuable pre-reading skills such as letter recognition, letter sequence, identifying phonemes (sounds), and matching letter sounds with pictures. Kit contains 108 rods including: vowels, consonants, and pictures with initial vowel and consonant sounds, plus 24 double-sided activity cards, 4 activity trays, a 48-page Instruction Book with over 100 full-color demonstration cards, and a sturdy storage tub.
